Questions parents ask

Which age group should we start with?

Go by your child's hands, not the birthday. If they cannot yet cut a straight line, start with the Ages 3–5 sheets, then move up.

Do I need a colour printer?

No. Plain black and white on ordinary copy paper works well, and children enjoy colouring the sheet themselves.

Are the scissors safe for small children?

Use child-safe scissors with rounded tips and stay beside children under five while they cut.

My child gets frustrated quickly. What should I do?

Stop after ten minutes, praise the effort and try again tomorrow. Shorter, happier sessions build skill faster.

Can I print the same sheet again?

Yes. With the Craft Vault you can reprint any sheet for siblings, friends or another try.
